Yes. The University is requiring all students to return to campus and looks forward to safely returning for in-person instruction and activities.

International students who have visa-related delays that prevent them from arriving for the first day of the semester may be permitted to participate remotely in some classes until they arrive. Students should contact ISSO with details of their specific visa situation and remain in contact with their school or programs about academic issues.

Columbia’s schools will not offer every course in a remote format. International students who might not arrive until after the start of the semester will need to work with their respective school and advisor to ensure that they can enroll remotely in classes that help them to advance academically until they can return to in-person instruction. Permission from students’ school or program will be required for late arrivals and may not be permitted for some programs.
