Required Protocol for Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, and Other Special Affiliates
Individuals at affiliate institutions such as Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, and Teachers College may be eligible to access certain Columbia University facilities. In addition, retirees, emeriti, and academic visitors pre-approved by their departmental administrator may also be granted access to such facilities on a case-by-case basis.

Under all circumstances, individuals accessing the Columbia campus must fulfill the required protocol below.

Safety Training Requirements
Barnard College faculty and staff who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Safe Work and Study at Columbia University (TC5800 Rascal).
Barnard College students who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols including the safety training Keeping Our Community Healthy.
Union Theological Seminary faculty and staff who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols, including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Safe Work and Study at Columbia University (TC5800 Rascal).
Union Theological Seminary students who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols, including the safety training Keeping Our Community Healthy
Teachers College faculty, staff, and students must complete the Teachers College preparedness protocols and show the TC “Green Pass” for entry to Columbia buildings.
Academic visitors must be approved pursuant to the Guidelines for Visitors Participating in Academic Activities. Approved academic visitors and visiting scholars who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Safe Work at Columbia University. There can be up to a one-hour delay between completion of this training being relayed to the checkbox in the ReopenCU app. Please plan your trip to campus accordingly.
Prior to accessing campus, departmental approval is required. You should contact the relevant department administrator for the approval process. Approved emeriti and retirees who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols, including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Safe Work and Study at Columbia University (TC5800 Rascal).
