Required Protocol for Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, and Other Affiliates
Individuals at Barnard College and Union Theological Seminary may be eligible to access certain Columbia facilities.
Under all circumstances, individuals accessing the Columbia campus must fulfill the required protocol below.

These rules—and related policies and guidelines—apply to all affiliates. You must follow all University Public Health Protocols.
Safety Training Requirements
Students, faculty, and staff of Barnard College and Union Theological Seminary who need to access the Columbia University campus must complete the required protocols above including the safety training, COVID-19 Training: Being Safe at Columbia University (for Barnard, UTS, and Other Special Affiliates).
There can be up to a one-hour delay between completion of this training and that information being relayed to the ReopenCU app. Plan your trip to campus accordingly.
Teachers College faculty, staff, and students must complete the Teachers College preparedness protocols and show the TC “Green Pass” for entry to TC buildings.
Academic visitors must be approved pursuant to the Guidelines for Visitors Participating in Academic Activities. Approved academic visitors and visiting scholars who need to access the Columbia campus must complete the required protocols including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Working Safely at Columbia University.
Prior to accessing campus, departmental approval is required. Contact the relevant department administrator for the approval process. Approved emeriti and retirees who need to access campus must complete the required protocols, including the safety training COVID-19 Training: Being Safe at Columbia University (for Barnard, UTS, and Other Special Affiliates).
